March 2025 Update Newsletter
Hello, everyone! This newsletter is going to be a somewhat small one. Currently, I am investing more time into one of my other projects, which is very close to being done. I would say to give it about a couple months and I will have more time to put into the game! During this time, however, I will be chipping away at the Kickstarter, which I hope to submit before the other project is finished.
Anyways, here's what we got for this month.
Firstly, my programming pal Gibmaker is working on a sector-based navigation system for NPCs! We never implemented any sort of pathfinding, but now NPCs will be able to go around corners to get you (this is especially important for a particular hulking beast). Check out this psychedelic screenshot in the meantime.
Have a collection of new animations for the prisoners.

We are currently implementing a second floor lockout on the first day. This will result in fewer maps to go through so that new players are not too overwhelmed by the size of the manor.
Two new dinner guests are being worked on!
Thank you for reading! Again, I am dead focused on this other project, so don't expect any newsletters for the next couple months. That being said, we will be sure to let you know when we make headway on the Kickstarter campaign!
