A downloadable game for Windows

Mind Her Manor is an action-adventure with management elements. Young Henrietta finds herself as the newest prisoner to be taken into the manor of Fay Shadowrend, the Matriarch of Witches. Fate seems to smile upon her as she is released from her cold cell, selected to do Fay's bidding. Free to wander the manor, Henrietta must find a way to escape Fay's clutches as she keeps her satisfied. She must hurry, however, as she has limited time to find a way out! Henrietta will encounter numerous characters, ferocious enemies, and perplexing puzzles as she works for her life!

Mind Her Manor is the first project of Mindbridge Games, consisting mainly of two developers, and is made on GameMaker. It features anthropomorphic animals as its characters and a high fantasy medieval setting. Its gameplay is inspired by Zelda, Dead Rising, Secret of Mana, and Resident Evil.

  • A top-down perspective with 8-directional movement, both keyboard/mouse and controller support! (analog movement available on controllers)
  • Explore a lavish medieval manor as you accomplish Fay's tasks. Manage your time wisely!
  • Plentiful randomization including random loot and periodic enemy spawns.
  • Copious puzzles to help ease your journey or offer the keys to freedom!
  • A set of four weapons to help defend against the monsters of the manor. Build your charge bar and release powerful charge attacks!
  • A terrifying creature of the night that persists across rooms...
  • Brew an array of potent potions from monster parts and acquire temporary buffs of all kinds!
  • Cutscenes featuring full body pictures of speaking characters!
  • A bevy of curious items to help you in your quest.
  • Maintain your weapons and other gear.
  • An original soundtrack, most tracks composed by Anna Maria Olsson.

Demo Notes:

The game is currently in a beta state, with a demo curated to take up a certain type of gameplay not reminiscent of the final product's end goal. In the demo, the goal is to survive as long as possible, with tasks becoming more numerous each day. Survive past 7 challenging days and be presented with some fun secrets to seek out!

FAQ:

Q: How do I select things in the title screen?

A: Press "F" for basic confirmation.

Q: Is there fetish/NSFW content?

A: This game is SFW, and the player being eaten by a number of enemies on death can probably be construed as fetish content.

Q: Will there be a (X) port?

A: Ports may occur later in the game's development, most likely after full release. Ports can be expensive and/or time-consuming, and we need to see that it's worth doing before committing.

I love this game, especially the werewolf, but I wish you could watch the digestion. It seems like in this version of the game it instantly transports you to the game over screen, when I came here from footage with longer digestion sequences. Any way to view these scenes?

It looks promising, but sadly, these point-and-click adventure games have the side effect that you can get stuck very easily.

I played the demo for 20 minutes but could find nothing but an empty manor full of pots to smash...but that's pretty much it. I am looking forward to future versions that also include enemies.

It has enemies, try playing past day one.

Is there going to be a version for mobile?

So I know this has probably been asked, but do you have a release date set for the full version? Or is that a long way away?

Fantastic game by the way, eager to give new content whether it's bugfixes, new enemies or more places to explore a play and a test.

We don't have a concrete release date at the moment, but thanks for enjoying our demo! We'll be making monthly updates showcasing some content that will be the final game.

Thank you for replying! Happy to see the monthly updates when they arrive for what's in store for the full release.

I like this game so far, but I sometimes get lost on what I need to do and I really struggled with the fighting in this game. I feel like I'm supposed to find a weapon but I don't know where one is. Either way, I'm enjoying myself. Also you should add vore as a tag, since this game has vore. X3  Edit: I just realized all the stuff I needed was at the beginning. I just went to sleep waaay too soon. So I'm making progress!

There's a wooden chest you can interact with that has a puzzle tied to it. When you complete it, you get the key to the armory room in the basement that has weapons.

Right! I found that and got the key. Thanks anyway!

wheres the chest i cant find i

When gonna it come to android? I'm waiting happily

One crash bug occurs when you attempt to fill up a bucket at the privy (reliably happens in the right one). Other than that, great game! 4/6 secrets found!

What's the spawn rate and time for the Bat Lady if anyone knows? Tried looking for her multiple times with no success.

Can You Add A Mechanic Of When You Eat Someone, Because You Said This Game Has Vore, Right?

Okay, i just wanna say, AMAZING GAME SO FAR! I love the vore deaths, especially the Acolyte death! Shrinking is my fav thing ever! With that, however, i have two questions.

1: Will the full game be on steam?
2: Will you play around with the shrinking concept some more outside of the Acolyte death? Maybe there will be something that causes Henrietta to shrink while she actively explores the manor, which will probably let her explore hard to reach areas, but also making her much more vulnerable, like her getting crushed and stepped on by larger creatures, or making the frog enemy more dangerous or even having Vania mistake her for a rodent and eat her!

Hi there, sorry for the late reply. We are planning on putting up a Steam page by next month, stay on the lookout!

will there be a mobile version of the game?

Love the game so far, only problem is a very consistent crashing problem when trying to turn in tasks. Oddly enough saving, experiencing the crash, and then reloading the game will prevent the crash from happening for a little while. But by the time I'm ready to turn in the next batch of tasks I have to save again and have the game crash before I can turn in.

Please download the latest version which should fix this.

Are there plans to translate the game into another language?

(+2)

Localization is being considered. It would cost a good amount, so we're trying to figure out how to fit it into our budget.

Basic control explanation definitely needed, I can't seem to get the main menu to even accept any inputs and I've tried nearly every key. There seems to be no default "select" button.

"F" is the basic activation key.
